2021 - “Divine Sorrow” expanded media
Divide Sorrow is an image of a lamb set against a carefully crafted background, photographed and then digitally illustrated. The work blends realism with artistic interpretation, transforming the original photo into a layered, expressive piece. By combining photography and illustration, the image captures both innocence and a subtle, melancholic atmosphere, exploring themes of vulnerability and emotional depth.
2020 - “Compression”, design 3d
Compression is a 3D design of a guitar created for a design class, where the goal was to visualize a word through form. I chose “plugging in a guitar” as the concept, and the design was eventually laser-cut through plywood, turning a digital model into a tangible object. The project explores structure, layers, and how a single idea sound, music, energy can be expressed visually. The process combined 3D modeling software with hands on fabrication, bridging digital design and physical making.
2021 - '' Tarot ''  Series of tarot cards, expanded media
Tarot is a series of tarot card designs created as a design assignment at NSCAD. The challenge was to collage around 100 images in just a few days, combining them into cohesive, visually striking cards. The series draws on vaporwave aesthetics and Gen Z culture, mixing bold colors, digital motifs, and playful, surreal imagery. Each card is layered with textures and visual references, reflecting both the fast-paced creative process and the contemporary, internet-inspired energy of the work.
2024 - ''Untitled '' design
This is a T-shirt design project created under confidentiality, The design appears on both black and white shirts, paired with naive, hand-drawn illustrations that feel playful and spontaneous. The work plays with the idea of naive Art while still expressing personality.
2021 - '' Kernel Panic '' photo series, multi media
Kernel Panic is a series of 16 images exploring animals in nature as seen through an absent or disrupted mind. Each piece shows a different creature, distorted, fragmented, or reimagined, reflecting perception interrupted by mental “glitches.” The title references the computer error kernel panic, which occurs when an operating system encounters a critical problem it cannot safely recover from. Like the error, the series evokes sudden interruption, confusion, and a frozen or chaotic view of the world. Created digitally in Photoshop and Illustrator, the work blends realism and abstraction to capture both the beauty of nature and the disorientation of a fractured mind.
2021 ''SELF PORTRAIT -  oil on canvas, acrylics
Amna's self portrait in 2021, unfinished.
2023 NSCAD Expanded Media: - '' Tutto Passa '', oil on canvas
Tutto Passa is a series of three paintings exploring the beauty and inevitability of decay. Each piece depicts a body in the process of rotting, yet rendered with detailed care showing textures, blood cells, and the quiet transformation of life into another form. Painted in oils, the process emphasized layering and observation, capturing both the fragility and the continuity of existence. Inspired by the Italian saying “Tutto Passa” (“Everything Passes”), the series reflects on mortality, renewal, and the way life moves on, even in stillness.
2020 - ''EGYPT'' PHOTO SERIES
Egypt Photo Series presents three photographs exploring the layered presence of an Egyptian mummy. The first image shows the golden cast, painted and gleaming, a symbol of ritual and immortality. The second reveals the exposed remains, stripped of coverings, fragile yet deeply human. The third captures the figure wrapped in cloth, suspended between preservation and decay. Taken together, the series moves through surface, body, and memory showing how time, ritual, and matter hold stories of life and death.
2019 '' Untitled '' oil on canvas
These two oil paintings depict a faceless figure, marked only by round, wide eyes and soft, flesh toned hair. Without a mouth, the figure feels both silent and expressive, inviting the viewer to imagine its inner voice. The rounded eyes serve as the only anchor of identity, creating a sense of vulnerability and mystery. Painted in oils, the process focused on layering subtle tones to capture depth in the skin and hair, while keeping the form minimal and haunting. Together, the pair explore themes of presence, voicelessness, and the tension between being seen and being heard.
2019  '' Springman '' illustration and concept design
Spring Man is a surreal character: a skeleton wrapped in a flesh like suit, carrying within him a golden heart shaped like a stone. In one hand, he holds a single flower, a fragile contrast to his heavy body. The illustration series shows him in four poses, each one revealing a different side of his presence stillness, movement, offering, and reflection. The process began with hand sketches, then refined digitally in Adobe Illustrator for structure and symmetry, and finished in Photoshop with painted textures and muted tones. The work explores the balance between decay and renewal, weight and tenderness, life and artifice.
 2020 - '' A Posteriori ''  illustration
This 2D design shows a bird, standing on one leg caught between life and death. Its form looks fragile yet determined, a reminder of survival in its most delicate state. The process began with rough sketches, then refined digitally in Adobe Illustrator for sharp outlines and balanced shapes. Shading and texture were added in Photoshop to give the bird a layered, almost ghostly presence. It’s a piece about endurance, vulnerability, and finding life in stillness.
2021 - '' Springboy '' stop motion character design, clay
Spring Boy is a hand sculpted clay character, brought to life with soft pastel colors and painted details. Created for stop motion, he’s designed to bend, move, and freeze in place, carrying a playful yet fragile energy. The process began with clay modeling and shaping, followed by hand painting to give him a gentle, textured finish. Each detail shows the care of working by hand, imperfections included, making him feel both human and animated.
2021 - '' A PRIORI''  design

This butterfly design blends natural forms with an industrial feel. The process began with hand sketches, later refined in Adobe Illustrator for clean lines and symmetry, and detailed in Photoshop for texture and depth. The wings balance softness with metallic edges, echoing both fragility and strength. It’s a piece about transformation.
